Leonia Swim Team

Leonia Swim Team Requirements:

• Ages 5-6: must be able to swim independently across the shallow end of the pool
• Ages 7-8: must be able to swim 25 meters freestyle competently
• Ages 9-10: must be able to dive off block and swim 25 meters freestyle competently and 25 meters of another competitive stroke
• Ages 11-17: must be able to dive off the block and competently swim 50 meters freestyle and 50 meters of one other competitive stroke
• We are NOT swimming lessons. For lessons, you will need to sign up with the Leonia Pool Club separately.
• All swimmers MUST be members of the Leonia Swim Club to register.
• Swimmers must attend at least one practice to participate in a meet within the same week.

NEW for 2026: 

• all swimmers will be issued a Leonia Swim Team CAP free of charge - personalize caps will be available for an aditional charge.
• Lion Cub Swimmers ages 5-6 and 7-8 will have the option to practice 5 days a week!
